The journal assignment is designed to allow you to reflect upon some of the theories and concepts that have been presented in the class up to this point. Since we are at the midway point of the course, this is a great time to sit back and reflect. In your opinion, what is the role of the federal government in the lives of American Citizens and those people around the world What is the balance between individual responsibility and government responsibility Explore several theories from the Economic School of Thought Video how do the theories support or oppose your view of the government Begin identifying, for yourself, when economic responsibility should lie with individuals, and when it should lie with people The journal entry should be the equivalent of 2-4 pages of text (double spaced). Be sure to include references to the videos, book and lectures. Be specific with the information you’re using to build your paper. The journal should reflect depth of thought, mastery of the theories, and strong application to the ideas being presented. 40% of the grade will be based on theories and concepts from the book, videos and lectures, 40% on the depth of reflection, 10% on the application to tie them together, and 10% on proper APA Format, proper citations, reference page, grammar and spelling.
