Should hate speech be eliminated from social media by the government?

Write a 1500-word (it must not be less or more), research paper. my essay prompt: (1) Choose a topic and take a
a position that you will defend in an attempt to persuade your readers
to your cause, (2) define the
topic and its controversies in broad terms in the introductory paragraph, (3) defend your position
in the body paragraphs of your paper, citing academic sources as needed and
anticipating
any
opposing arguments that could be m
ade, (4) conclude your argument, summarizing your points
and restarting your thesis.

I found my sources and I have my outline.
the side I chose is that hate speech should not be eliminated from social media. and my whole idea for my thesis statement is: Hate speech should not be regulated on social media because such regulations violated the first amendment, conjointly in the time of regulating there is not working definition for hate speech and social media is just a platform to practice democracy.
o I have 3 main reasons to defend my idea:
hate speech should not be eliminated from social media because:
1-it violated first amendment(my examples and quotation: exactly the first amendment and Snyder v Phelps court case which have my source).
2-There is not an absolute definition of hate speech. (my example is the cartoonist which paint a cartoon of Prophet Muhammad and it got controversial and I have m source).the main point for this part is some speech that consif=de as hate is somebody’s beliefs and is protected by his/her religion and also some else’s idea can toward religion be hate speech to them.
3-social media is just a platform that people express their opinion and should not be manipulated
Besides these I can refer that hate speech is a moving target and the definition will change through time.
and also platforms like Youtube are currently regulating content because they are private company and they can do it that is why when people hit trending button on youtube can see the most beautiful makeup artist but can not see hat is going on in the society and that is one reason we have many racist still in the United States, Because no when facts be eliminated from social media people will not understand and accept it and there would not be any action.
also, emphasize that social media is where people talk and if it is needed people can regulate each other and it is up to us.
to get my point of view I put two links here there are not my source but just give you a quick view of what are my points:

Is hate speech legal?

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/apr/01/government-regulate-facebook-mark-zuckerberg-social-media
on the file that I send you, I used a quotation from one of these in the first paragraph that I prefer to eliminate.
and I also do not like how I started the essay I need a strong but good sentence which shows I am protecting hate speech for the very first sentence.
