Bibliography on Polio and Iron Lung

For the final annotated bibliography you need to find contemporary information that relates to your archival document. All of the sources you use for the final annotated bibliography must have been published within the past ten years. In other words, you are looking at a modern day equivalent to what happened in the past. To do this you will be looking to more contemporary sources of information that go beyond traditional books and articles. To fulfill this final assignment you will need to consult specific news sources from the liberal and conservative point of view and the following databases:

Academic Search Complete
CQ Press Library
Thomas Legislative Information
Opposing Viewpoints

Your annotated bibliography must include the following:

Two peer reviewed/scholarly articles from Academic Search Complete.
One article of Legislative Analysis from CQ or one Bill from Thomas Legislative. If you choose a Bill from Thomas, please read the full text of the Bill and review any actions, titles, or amendments to the bill. If you look at the Sponsor and Cosponsors this can give you an idea for the interview article.

One interview with an individual involved with your topic conducted by a news organization. This can be an audio interview on Opposing Viewpoints or a written interview found on any of the other databases.

One article from a biased source from the Left:
Mother Jones
The Nation
The New Republic
Dissent
Harpers Magazine
The New Yorker
The American Prospect
The Progressive
One article from a biased source from the Right:
American Conservative
The National Interest
Commentary
The Cato Journal
The American Spectator
National Review
Reason
The Weekly Standard

As with the midterm annotated bibliography, you will receive five possible points for each of your six annotations.

Follow the citation with a descriptive and evaluative summary of the source.
As before, you must make it clear how the article, legislation, or interview relates to your topic. When talking about your left and right biased articles, you must show me where the bias lies for credit. (3 points)
Each entry should be free of spelling errors and must be a minimum of 150 words. (1 point)
