Proposed Research Investigation Poster Presentation: Exploring Preservice Elementary Teachers’ Beliefs About Teaching Socioscientific Issues

SYLLABUS: “For this poster presentation, students are asked to construct a poster presentation for the Proposed Research Investigation that aligns with a presentation that may be offered at a refereed conference (typically, PowerPoint presentation slide template). The poster presentation is a culmination of all written assignments which include the following: (1) Rationale for the study (nature & scope of the problem); (2) Relevance of the study to field of study and problem statement; (3) Research questions; (4) Methods including research design, sample and sampling procedures, data collection procedures, instrumentation (psychometrics), coding, etc.; (5) Hypothetical or anticipated results- must include at last one table and one figure; (6) Primary data analytic procedures per research question and/or hypotheses; (7) Potential limitations, areas for future research and potential implications for field of study; and (8) at least 2-3 APA-style references.” ATTACHED DOCUMENTS: (1) professor’s research proposal power-point template slide; use font style Arial, font size 36 heading/bold, font size 32 text for the poster and bullet points for “Methods” section; (2) sample of student work as a guide; (3) client’s empirical research study proposal paper- note highlighted sections in the paper; and (4) client’s final version of the literature review which the writer had originally helped with. NOTE TO WRITER: What I really need from the writier is to complete sections #5,6,7 along with constructing this poster in its entirety. Since this research study is a hypothetical one, students have full range to be creative with making up data based off the methods section from the proposal paper. For this reason, the “5: Hypothetical/Anticipated Results,” “6: Primary Data Analytics,” and “7: Potential Limitations, Areas of for Future Research, and Potential Implications for Field of Study” are missing. Due to the client’s limited understanding of basic statistics, I am reaching out to request your expertise in crafting these sections. Specifically, to determine what methodological procedure is best used to analyze the “hypothetical” data from (1) participants’ written responses in their Pre/Post “Belief” essays and (2) from the follow-up interview transcripts. For more info, refer to the “methods” section of the client’s empirical research study proposal paper. To reiterate, it does not matter what data is presented on the poster; long as the results have answered my research question. So even though all the research has been done prior, the client has requested “5” number of sources/references from the writer for additional support (backup). As an alternative, you are welcome to complete sections 5,6,7 directly on my empirical research study proposal paper. That means that I will have to manually copy and paste what you write directly into the poster template. Please let me know which options you prefer and if you have any more questions. Thank you so much.
