Topics may be on anything relating to visual culture in China from 900-1911. Papers may compare that material with related things in contemporary China or in other cultures. Papers may be research papers (presenting information) or may be a synthesis of visual analysis and knowledge of cultural context. It is also possible to do an analytic book review. Papers should be 8-10 pages, double-spaced, Times 12-point font. The significance of the bowl and why we’re using the design it in modern society.
