Handbook of Leadership Theory and Practice: Section Five
In order to develop ones skills at academic writing, with specific focus on the synthesis necessary for doctoral work, students will write Thematic Leadership Position papers. The paper will have the following components:
A proposed position or thesis based on ones review of the assigned literature. (Handbook of Leadership Theory and Practice: Section Five)
A review of all the literature from the specific section assigned for the class meeting (Handbook of Leadership Theory and Practice: Section Five)
A thorough presentation, analysis, and synthesis of the literature from the assigned section. (Handbook of Leadership Theory and Practice: Section Five)
A thorough exploration and development of the proposed position or thesis.
Application possibilities for ones professional leadership practice.
Additionally, the paper will demonstrate clarity in writing, evidence of editing, and APA formatting.
