Describe how the following cultures (Scotland, African and the United States) view the rituals associated with dying.
Compare and contrast processes, practices and rituals within the countries’ cultural dealing with death and dying. Provide narrative that could include healthcare issues, social nuances, cognitive and emotional declines as well as palliative care practice.
Describe a model, (e.g. Elizabeth Kubler Ross) to use in coping with death and dying? Use your textbook to identify the model and describe how the stages might be played out in your late adulthood years. Comment on previous experiences in your life (in childhood, adolescence, or emerging adulthood ages) which might also contribute to such a response.

Organization:
Introduction: Begin with a paragraph (or section) that clearly and concisely summarizes the issues and factors, theory, concept, or article upon which you are basing your paper.
Application: This is very important. In this section, you should demonstrate, by citing examples, personal experience, or other sources, that you understand the subject matter and that you are applying the correct theory.
Conclusion: Analyze and summarize the material and comment on it in view of what you have learned about the subject from your reading of the text and the other approved resources. This section gives you the opportunity to express your feelings, opinions, and ideas about the subject. Discuss whether you agree or disagree with the theory, concept or article and why. What conclusions do you draw after exploring the topic? What important questions related to the topic remain unanswered for you?
Style: Papers should include an orderly presentation of ideas, be precise and clear.
Grammar: Proofread the paper for correct grammar, spelling, syntax (language rules), and sentence construction.
Presentation: Neatness counts.
Citation format: Whether you make a direct quote or paraphrase, in the body of the paper, include the last name of the author and the date of the publication following your quotefor example: (Boyd, 2012, p. xx).
References: A reference page should be added to your paper giving the full citation from which the quote, paraphrase, or idea was taken. This applies to material form the textbook, also.
Plagiarism: If you copy something word for word, or just rephrase someone else’s ideas, you must cite your source to give the author credit. Include the last name of the author and the date of the publication following your quote. Example: (Boyd, 2012, p. xx). If you use another person’s words or ideas as your own, you are committing plagiarism and may receive a failing grade. This applies to material form the textbook, also. You are expected to submit only work that you do yourself and to give proper credit when you use thoughts or quotes form another author.
