-I observed a 5 year old boy named Tyler at The Tater Tots Daycare -develop your observation skills and learn to focus on specific areas of childrens development based on the CDC Developmental Milestones Checklist (see attached sheet) -Utilizing the age appropriate checklist from the CDC website, indicate which milestones were meet and take accurate, concise, and objective notes regarding the childs appearance, interactions, and behaviors. Include in your report a description of the childs physical, cognitive, language, social and emotional areas of development. -Write a summary and conclusion about each development areas that you observed. Be sure to include information from your Milestones chart and Ericksons, Vygotskys and Piagets theories.. During this portion of the assignment objectivity is no longer required as you will be making subjective observations. -three-paged double spaced, font size 12, typed report.
