The State of California should increase security in the Southern Border.

This is an argumentation speech. The side that is taken is the negative constructive side. Which involves that our money going to that will be useless. More we should build up the economy in the US. Although it’s whatever evidence you find about it. Do the evidence searching for the 1NC and 2NC. Not the 1AC or 2AC. Format will be sent on upload. First Affirmative Constructive (1AC)This is the first speech of the debate and it is the responsibility of the affirmative to present a case that meets the burden of proof for the pre-determined proposition. This speech is prepared prior to the debate by the affirmative side. Typically this speech is read word for word from a prepared document. As a reminder, it is important to remember that the affirmative case must include all four stock issues. Cross-ExaminationThe second negative constructive (2NC) ask questions for 3 minutes. First Negative Constructive (1NC)This is the first chance for the negative team to read their prepared and spontaneous arguments. Most negative teams will read some on-case arguments and then proceed to argue some off-case arguments. On-case vs. off-case arguments are explained below. Almost always, these are all prepared arguments. Cross-ExaminationThe 1AC should ask questions for 3 minutes. Second Affirmative Constructive (2AC)The prepared arguments are essentially done unless your team was able to predict what the other team would argue and you have prepared. Therefore, most of your responses to the negative are going to be based on your knowledge of the topic and evidence that you have accumulated. It is very important in this speech that the affirmative respond to all of the arguments made by the 1NC because it is your last constructive affirmative speech. Cross-ExaminationThe 1NC should ask questions for 3 minutes. Second Negative Constructive (2NC)This is the beginning of the negative block which is described in detail below. The negative team should split up their positions at this point and respond to the arguments made by the affirmative on the positions you are covering. Cross-ExaminationThe 2AC should ask questions for 3 minutes. First Negative Rebuttal (1NR)This speech is the second half of the negative block. The first negative speaker is required to address the arguments that the 2NC did not address. Positions or arguments are usually split between the two before the 2NC. First Affirmative Rebuttal (1AR)Probably one of the most difficult speeches in debate if the negative block was executed properly there should be a ton of stuff to respond to in a limited amount of time. This speech needs to answer all of the negative block and start to develop why the affirmative team is winning the debate. Second Negative Rebuttal (2NR)This is the last speech for the negative side so make sure to argue your strongest arguments. As explained in the stock issues section, the negative only needs to win one stock issue or show that the cost of doing the plan is outweighed by your teams negative arguments. You dont have to address all of your arguments unless the affirmative has put offence on them. This is where you make your final case to the judge why you should win. Second Affirmative Rebuttal (2AR)This is the last speech of the debate. In this speech, the second affirmative speaker should convince the judge why the affirmative plan is a good idea and should be implemented. Be sure to respond to all of the negative arguments and give all the reasons why you should win.
