Different categories of disorders, especially in the beginning stages of assessment, can share overlapping signs and symptoms. Write a post (250 words) in which you outline the signs and symptoms that overlap between psychotic and mood disorders. Make sure to link your narrative to diagnostic criteria related to specific mental disorders in each category. This is not an APA academic paper. It is a description of DSM-5 fundamentals that relate to psychotic and mood disorders. To that end, you can use an outline form or bullet points….whatever format you want to use that allows you to clearly communicate your understanding of these two categories of disorders.
