This assignment is an Evidence-Based Systematic Review. Identify a clinical problem and develop a PICO question. Review the literature about this question, using a minimum of 10 references. This systematic review will identify, appraise, and synthesize the studies to answer the question. Conclusions are made based on scientific evidence. Please include the following components: Abstract Introduction Relevant PICO clinical question Purpose or aim of review Literature Search criteria and strategies Comprehensive search and results Critical appraisal process and findings Results of findings (table and narrative format) Discussion of findingsimplications, limitations, conclusions Conclusion Note *** The PICOT question has already been selected, as well as the appropriate studies and articles with all their references. I will upload them all including other book references as extra reading /info material. PICOT question: Are women of ages (18-25) (P) who take oral contraceptives (I) compared with women who have never used oral contraceptives or used it after age 25 (C) at an increased risk for breast cancer (O) over their lifetime (T)? A Systematic Review yields a high form of evidence, and the conclusions are useful in helping Nurse Practitioners make decisions on the best treatment based on available evidence. It involves identifying a clinical problem, developing a research question. An introduction providing background information related to the issue, and a discussion of the interventions that you will be comparing. A clearly stated PICO question. A thorough review of the details of the research studies that answer the PICO question. A summary and rationale as to whether or not the question was answered. For a systematic review, you will need a total of 10 references, 6-9 of them research studies that support your intervention.
