For this assignment, you are asked to view the film Crash and apply concepts that we have discussed in relation to Stratification and Inequality. For this paper, you will choose THREE scenes to analyze. For each scene, you must first provide a BREIF summary (assume that I have seen the movie). Next, I would like you to address the following questions: Where do the characters stand socially in relation to one another and how does that affect the interaction? In addition, you will be applying at least ONE concept from the list provided to EACH scene be sure to provide a definition of the concept prior to the analysis. Here are some things to think about when you are working to make the connections between the material and the film: In what ways does the scene demonstrate the concept? How does the scene connect with the ideas discussed in lecture and the text to the concept you have chosen? Are there any parallels to the cases we have talked about in class or in the text? You should not be doing library research or going to outside sources for this assignment.
