What is your general opinion of it? What value is there in analyzing fiction? What do you think the best way is to approach a text? In your opinion, is there any meaning to be gleaned from a surface reading (assuming there is no hidden meaning to the text, but that there is some meaning in its form or function other than entertainment) of the text as opposed to a suspicious reading (finding hidden meaning behind the words where a true meaning might be)?
